Great central location, nice rooms, unfortunately the person on reception knew no English, so we did all our tour bookings through the hotel just next door. There was a nighclub blaring music and a light show on ground level, also, after a message with my wife at the spa, the staff complained we didn't leave a large enough tip.

relatively to what cat ba town has to offer, this is a good hotel with clean comfortable rooms. but, the whole atmosphere is kind of 80's dont expect anything too chic... the hotel manager james was very helpful with everything we needed.

Staff at the reception were great. Hotel is located at the center of everything you need. There is small disco on the ground floor of this hotel. Can be too noisy to some but it was alright for me - didn't disturbed me too much. Breakfast very basic and simple. Made up with lots of seafood lunches and dinners - a must do when in Cat Ba.

Khách sạn sạch sẽ, phòng ốc đẹp, nước nóng,tiện nghi đầy đủ và tốt,view đẹp nhân viên niềm nở. Buffet hơi bị ít món.Internet dùng không thuận tiện lắm, nên để tự động các thông tin khai báo, thăm hỏi khách hàng, lưu giữ địa chỉ email khi đăng nhập thay vì phải hỏi nhân viên mật khẩu. Nhân viên cần săn sóc tốt hơn,nên luôn có một, hai nhân viên đứng ở cửa ra vào, thang máy chào hỏi khách ra vào, lên xuống thang máy, ấn thang máy cho khách để thể hiện thái độ quan tâm.

Had a nice stay at the Sea Pearl. Room was big and had a view over the bay. Staff were helpful, especially the receptionist. It's probably slightly overpriced for what you get, especially as there's no breakfast buffet.
