We enjoyed all aspects of this hotel, even it's location on the perimeter of the main city. The hotel is spacious, with attractive gardens and a clean, large outdoor pool area. The breakfast provided an excellent buffet with high quality food and the menu changed each day. I appreciated the complimentary glasses of wine and fruit platter presented to our room to celebrate my birthday, which was initiated by the hotel management. We often walked to the riverside from this location or took a taxi for about 30k dong or travelled about 5km to the beach for 70k dong. We would recommend this hotel to other travellers.
Try the barbecue beef ribs at Alfresco's Restaurant but note the address in Lonely Planet is incorrect. It is found on Nguyen Phuc Chu but well known to taxi drivers (30k dong from Dong Hung Hotel).
